About Me

Sergo Gambarian

Registered Legal Document Assistant in California
(LDA #2025148783)

Legal problems often begin long before a courtroom. They usually start when a person faces unfamiliar documents, tight deadlines, and no clear understanding of the next steps.

That is why I founded Law Help | US.

I am a California Registered Legal Document Assistant (LDA #2025148783), bonded for $25,000, and a CALDA member. I am not an attorney and do not provide legal advice or court representation. My role is to prepare documents at your direction, help organize information, and make the process clear and manageable.

Since graduating from law school in 2015, I have spent 10+ years working in law and compliance: government administration, corporate legal departments, litigation management, and regulatory work in professional sports. My legal credentials were evaluated in the United States through WES.

Professional experience matters, but so does the personal journey. I understand what it means to start over in a new country, work across multiple languages, and carry family responsibilities while navigating complex administrative processes.

Many people approach legal systems and professionals with caution. Often for good reason. I understand and respect that. I do not ask for blind trust. Check my registration, verify the bond, read client reviews, and ask any questions.

Over the past 12 months, I have prepared more than 100 document packages for private clients, attorneys, and law firms across the United States. Some needed a power of attorney. Others required complex court filing packages. Nearly all wanted the same thing: clarity, an honest approach, and timely communication.

If your matter falls within my licensed scope, I will tell you directly. If you need an attorney, I will tell you that directly too. No hidden fees or personal interest.

What matters most is rarely promises. It is documents prepared correctly the first time, by someone who treats your situation as it deserves to be treated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Services

How is an LDA different from an attorney?
A Legal Document Assistant is a registered specialist authorized to prepare legal documents at the client's direction (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §6400). LDAs do not provide legal advice or court representation – those are reserved for attorneys. The advantage: most document preparation work that traditionally bills at attorney hourly rates is performed at fixed fees, often resulting in significant savings. For matters that require legal strategy or representation, I refer clients to trusted attorneys with whom I partner.
How much do services cost?
Cost depends on case complexity. Estimated prices are listed on the website, but the exact cost is determined after an initial review of your matter and confirmed in a written contract. Government fees are paid separately.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payment by any bank card – remotely via a payment link or in person at the office. Installment plans are available through separate services and discussed individually.
How long does document preparation take?
Most documents are prepared within 2–7 business days. Complex packages (living trusts, probate filings, civil litigation packages) may take 2–4 weeks. Rush requests are discussed individually.
Can I sign documents remotely?
Yes. For remote signing I use electronic signature services such as DocuSign. Electronic signatures have full legal force under the federal ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Documents signed via DocuSign are accepted by courts and other government agencies.
Do you only work in California?
No. While I am registered as an LDA in California, I prepare documents for clients across the United States. Document preparation work – drafting, formatting, exhibits – is jurisdiction-flexible; the specifics of where the document is filed are handled per the relevant state's procedures.
What is a bond and why does it matter?
A bond is a $25,000 surety deposit required by law for every registered LDA (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §6401). It protects the client: if a specialist's error causes you harm, you can receive compensation from the bond.
Is my information protected?
Yes. All documents and personal data are stored in a secure encrypted system and never shared with third parties. Every client signs a contract with clear confidentiality obligations. I operate under the standards set by Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §6408.
Office

By Appointment

Local clients are welcome at my office in Agoura Hills, California – by appointment. For clients in other states and abroad, I work fully remote: the entire process is streamlined – from initial consultation to document signing via DocuSign.
